Our firm is a young & vigorous organization that traces its origin back to 1945 when E.W. McKean Sr. started the practice.  E.Walter McKean Jr. succeeded to the business in 1962 after graduation from the University of Alabama.  McKean & Associates, P.A., CPA’s began operation in July of 1974.

We have the aggressiveness of youth, combined with the wisdom of experience, to serve our clients to the fullest extent possible, always holding ourselves to the highest ethical standards; quality service to our clients is the cornerstone of our foundation and continues to be the basis of our growth.

Our philosophy of personalized service means, among other things, that the services provided to your organization will be under the personal direction of Cindy Rathle, CPA, Managing Principal or Mrs. Ann Broughton, CPA, Accounting and Auditing Principal.  Each is responsible for engagement planning, personnel supervision, and review.
